“The mother and child is an international and cultural symbol of the woman, the mother and her unconditional bond with her child. Also a religious symbol, the “Virgin and Child”, this drawing is timeless. In making this sculpture, I wanted to recreate and revisit the LOVE OF A MOTHER FOR HER CHILD. A hug on the front and a sunny eye on the back. A word can be engraved according to your wishes and the context.” Hand-carved by Jennifer Dewavrin – made in France – 18k gold (750/1000th)
